This Unit is to strengthen the research and publication base of the Institute through: 

• Conducting research in all aspects of education at institutional level
• Generate research proposals and activities for local, national and international funding
• Coordinate publication requests from Publishing Companies and other bodies
• Solicit publication opportunities
• Be in constant liaison with the Publications Unit of the University
• Undertake and ensure the timely publication of:

  1. Journals (the WAJE and ER)

  2. Abstracts of thesis,

  3. Newsletter,

  4. Institute Annual Report

  5. Handbook for Students and

  6. other Institute occasional publications

• Carry out all other duties that may emerge as relating to the Unit
